Help with Mach II GT installation...

The Gizmo is here with the AMD 64 kit. The instructions are over simplified - and really designed for the other model.



I have some issues that I need help with guys:



1. None of the cords are long enough to reach my motherboard, what can I do?



2. Where do I connect the blue/white and yellow/yellow if I already have my PC utilizing those?



3. When do I turn on the switch on the back of the Mach II GT?



4. Do I keep the PC on and connect the USB?



5. Do I install the software, install the firmware, then power down, remove the fan, and install the Mach II GT?

Hey!

1/ any way of extending the cables will work- the power and shut down lines only provide a short-circuit between 2 pins, theres no logic required.

2/ The blue/White connects to the power switch on the case, and the yellow/yellow goes to where the power switch (from the case) would normally go.

3/You have a switch on the back of your Mach?? Mine doesnt, so no clue, sorry.

4/Better connecting the USB when the computers off, but doesnt really matter, you might get an instant power off when attaching it, but unlikely.

5/Doesnt matter if you install the mach software before or after you hook up the Mach- it has a series of default settings that`ll run if no software is detected.

Its 4 in the morning, I`m unsober and I knocked that out with no spelling issues. I rock!

OK! The issue I have been having with connectivity has been solved. I have decided to mount my case on the Mach II GT. Now I have a question about the red/red wire (female 2 holed power pin) - where does that go?

I have the Asus A8N SLI Deluxe motherboard.

Is the red/red wire coming from the mach?

*assuming* the 2 wires being the same colour means the same thing as on mine (I have a yellow/yellow) it should go to the mobo where the power switch from the case would normally go

K404 - this wire is red/red - it looks like a 12v female but it has only 2 holes instead of 4. I looks like a power thingee - but as you don't have a power stick in the back - that might be related to it.

I see the yellow/yellow cord, that's not it.

Does anyone else know what this cord is?

The red/red wire are you talking about the reah heater pad wires?? does it have a white plug on it??

Yea, definitely the heater wires

The heater you have stuck on the backplate of the mach headkit thats on the back of your motherboard should plug into this!
