Having troubles with connecting firewire and front panel audio.

Hey I am just wiring up my rig and I'm having troubles with connecting the front panel audio as well as firewire. The connectors are in the little black divider things (theres 9) and I'm having a hell of a time trying to make it fit into the socket. Any ideas, I'm going nuts. I thought about waiting until tomorrow, cutting the wires and hooking them up to a plug that already has the 9 things connected.

i dont quite understand what you are trying to fit into where? the individual wires into the black connectors, or the black conenctors ontot he motherboard?

are they headers? or just coming from the front of the case?

You should be able to look in the manual of your motherboard to see which way it goes. If you havent got the manual, then download it of the makers website.

Sry guys it was hard to explain but I fixed it. They are the cables that control the led's and such for the case and they are all separate with black plastic pieces on the ends. I just rewired it, it took a bit of time, but it worked.

I hate those connectors with a passion, especially when trying to keep them neat and tidy. Imo the bane of computer building!!! The ones that have two wires joined together into one plug are ok though. I usually use pointy nosed pliers for the others :)
