Anti-RGB 1000D 2080ti SLI Build

Hey all,

I've been running my workstation with a single 2080ti in an In-Win 303c and was not super happy with the cooling/airflow performance I was getting so I decided to upgrade to a case where I could just throw massive rads in and run the fans at their bare minimum speeds. Decided to go with the 1000D to fit dual 480mm rads in the front with push pull so that the system will be as near silent as it can be. While starting to move hardware into the case it seemed like there was a ton of extra room so the idea came into my head that most of the system should get an upgrade at the same time. I've replaced the motherboard, nvme drives, monitor, and the memory. 70% of the time this machine is being used to render and work on large models, hence the Threadripper and 64gb of RAM. Looking around the interwebz I have not been able to find a 1000D system that isn't a rainbow on all the things so I've gone for just having the only lights be white (which I know is technically ALL the rgb at the same time). Unless showing someone the pc I have all the led's turned off on the system. The new specs are:

Threadripper 1950x @ 4.2ghz on all cores @ 1.425v
Gigabyte x399 xtreme
64gb Dominator Platinum 3200 cl16
3 x 960gb Corsair MP510 nvme drives
3 x 4tb Samsung 860 Evos
2 x FE 2080ti's
AX1200i
All the EK fittings, blocks, and radiators.

I've resized all of my photos in imgur. They were really crappy phone pics to start out with so we'll see how they look...

The system is currently up and running but has yet to hit its "final form" as I'm waiting on some custom length CableMod cables to redo all of the cabling. Also, will be etching a logo into the tempered glass side panel at some point and covering the corsair fan logos with custom logos.

Of course, not every decision has been made for work (obviously) so I also ended up swapping out my trusted Predator X34 for an Asus PG27UQ for the 144hz 4k Gsync HDR gaming. After switching back and forth between the two, I have to say I prefer the size and aspect ratio for workflow and games on the X34 more, however, the PG27UQ looks so much better in gaming so far.

As I continue to get the cables and logos sorted out I'll continue to update this thread and, hopefully, one day the entire work area can be moved from here to the Rig/workstation forums

Bonus, this was my setup in my 303c before gutting everything. Ended up cutting a lot of the case up and covering bits with acrylic to make it all fit correctly. Custom painted the thing and added the local hockey team's logo to the front and back panels, but because there were 2 cases of which one was my test and the other was a give away for the team, I'm not allowed to share the logo'ed up photos =X

Not sure why SLi, but I like it. Black tubing is awesome. You can be pretty lazy about cleaning the loop :D
