Guess the Apple !

Consensus seems to be G5, I don`t think I`d argue with that cos I`ve seen a handfull of them in situ also.

Damn fine processors imo.

I just want one of the PowerMacs.

Trust me, dual G5 CPUs (each one is dual core) is just what I need (some may say it's "weak", but not for me... :p ).

Unfortunately they`re in storage and it seems there they`re gonna stay.

Sure I could unpack em here and goof about, but tbh I want them at home.

Can`t believe it tbh, I was stood there in the hands-on-hips fashion the other day trying to think of a way around something. I don`t think I can buy em either, they`re just there to collect more dust. Project cancelled or something.

f sake.

Make em "disappear" :D.

I wouldn't hurt you if you to send one to me. :yumyum:

IMHO G5s are insanely better processors than C2D (this is the point where SPECinit+ Jobs'/Apples' reality Distortion Field can suck my a$s)

you could easily sell them to a rendering farm (my Friends 2Ghz single core G5 outstrips his Core Duo 1.8 with regards to framerate in poser + maya)

Oh not to mention the best linux performance can be found on G5s and those screens could fetch a pretty penny on Ebay

(or OC3D could have a new Giveaway -- thats a great idea and only fair that the person who came up with the idea gets the first 1 :D)
