I suppose it's because if that was a real bottle top the specular highlight wouldn't look like that due to it being a curved convex surface, but also because there's no global lighting or shadows in the picture it looks a bit out of place?

I still think it would look great without the lighting

Yeah, I wasn't doing specular lighting, I just took the lighting style of app icons from iOS devices. I'm not great with lighting.

That actually looks real nice, the only part I would change would be the font of the text.

The only issue with that one would be resizing / upscaling the image for printing, or screening. It would lose quality.
