Free electricity?! Time to start folding!

Found out this morning that my dad doesn't pay for the electricity in his printing studio, meaning I can fold there forever for free!

Going to search my house for all and everything which could be used to make a frankensystem to fold on. Also going to have to pay a small fee to get broadband in there, but that's not too much of a problem.

as i was writing this I remembered I have a 9800gt that I retired, so there's the gpu for the folder!

Nice. 9800GT isn't that bad of a folder either.

Do you have an idea of what hardware you have to put together?

I'm not really too sure but hopefully I can dig out my old family pc from hiding, IIRC it was a 3.2 pentium 4. Every little helps i suppose

Now that I think of it I'm not sure if the motherboard has a pcie slot.

When you know what you have got and what you need, stick a post in the spare hardware thread. Even if no one has anything now to give away, something may come up in the future.
