Tom said he updated the forum server so it could withstand these types of situations, however, i couldn't even post near the 20:00 hour mark.
I don't know if it is just me but by default, the forum subscribes to every thread i post in and sends me an email for every reply on that thread if i'm on the forum. I had to change it in the settings and delete all the emails i received..
If this is the case with all the users, imagine how many emails the server is sending at the same time to all those guys online. Waste of resources in my opinion.
Shouldn't the email notifications for these types of things be off by default?
