Firefox + Paypal = :-(

Hi all,

This one is bugging me.

On my work PC if i try and pay via Paypal on fleebay the final confirm payment scean hangs. If i hit F5 payment comes up as been confirmed.

Works fine on IE and on firefox on my home PC.

Any ideas what could be causing issues ?

Some form of proxy issue probably.

Go to tools>options>advanced>network>settings and then click on No Proxy.

If that doesn't work then go to tools>options>advanced>encryption and make sure ssl 3.0 and tsl are checked.

This isn't probably the fix but it is all I could come up with for now.

if its at work you may find certain thing are locked out such as java ect ect.

you may need to contact your support and ask if there is any thing that your permission stop such as cookie cashing from certain web sites.

you might want to uninstall Firefox entirely and then reinstall.

I'd go with this, use CCleaner in between uninstall and install, and just back up your bookmarks. It's surprising how often things like this work.

EDIT: Didn't see that it may be a work PC, if it is then yea something may be disabled and you'll want to contact your IT
