Also will you be able to get the Vapo LS mount kit for use with these? (Obvious that modification is need for the larger block) It's now available aswell as the Skt T kit HERE

Yes I can get these, please email or catch me on MSN.

a couple of work in progress pics of the first unit

That unit in metallic black looks absolutely stunning. I feel the need to try it out...:p

Any idea about performance compared to a Mach II GT? As I understand it the baker head should make a substancial difference :)

Are you going to make more, and if so, how long will take you to make one and are they also going to be pretested?

From what I can tell you are looking at at least 10 degrees if not more ??

The difference basically is that with the Baker head instead of the standard is it'll hold outlonger before temps rise afaik.

Better for benchin cos it'll run at low temps for longer because of the mass of copper inside the thing

:)

Yes, that would come in quite handy indeed. Question is if it would make any difference IRL 24/7. Too bad one can't really rely on display temp readings, that would make it easier to compare. I know I got a substancial gain on my EE going from a regular Mach II to a GT, the 15°C lower load temps gave me almost 150 Mhz extra on the cpu. If I could get at least 10°C lower load temps which indeed it looks like from the specs (180W load @ -60), I could be looking at around 100 Mhz extra on the cpu. That would be nice :)

My standard mach2 regassed to r507 runs my machine 10 degrees colder than my gt when the cpu is running at the same speeds:D

Thanks for the comments Lars. Yes we are making more, basically we will make them to demand so if a customer wants one, they have to pre-order it and we make it. I've sold 3 units in as many days so obviously its first come first served. I'm currently awaiting on news from the US regards the Baker Heads - we are also working on a Chily1 unit in the coming weeks which should be better again in theory.

Hey Phil. Ae the Chilly1 Heads the same size as the Baker ones, do you know?

As far as physical size I believe they are however on doing some research the chilly1 has a thicker base

Looking good there Phil.....

There are gaskets available to go with the enclosure(intel/amd). You wont need seal string if you use the gaskets. Email Tats @ xtwerkz.com and ask him about the gaskets.

The mach 2 sensor is about 10-20C degress off when you are measuring from the side of the evap.

Great job,

The man himself enters the site :D

Welcome d00d :) always nice to see the pros helping with advice :)

Good luck with these phil as they look fantastic!

Np, IMHO they were well deserved ;)

It sounds pretty tempting. Now I would be looking for solution that I would be able to run like a regular computer (like you can with a standard mach II or a GT), i.e. start it up and shut it down without having to wait for more than a few minutes, as well as a socketkit that can keep things "tidy".

I can live with a fair amount of noise, as well as power draw, I just need more than a "benchmark" cooler if you all know what I mean. One of my "friends" has a chilly1 cascade, and he says that while it is awesome for benching it really isn't suitable for 24/7 or everyday use.

Have you managed to get a fluke on there yet to give the real temp? I want to see what this unit can do without having to factor in the MachIIs inaccurate sensor.

Other than that, it's really huge. I saw the cascade yesterday, and I knew it was huge, but not THAT huge. It would look wierd with a normal case on top of it.
