DFI Bios temps

Ok guys I need to know how accurate your bios temps are on the DFI NF4 boards??

As mine seem too high even under an R507 mach2 GT it could just be my cpu's IHS not making proper contact with the core???

Using BIOS 510-2 on my DFI with FX55SD @ 13*268 with 1.45*113%

Temps in BIOS read -16 Degrees - speed fan reports -20 degrees in windows though.

cheers

The temp reading on the DFI board doesn't seem to go below -29C for me and I know my cpu is colder than that, albeit only slightly.

You can never really go by the temps though unless you buy a temp probe, but then you have the problem of where to stick it while keeping good contact on the core.

Lots of people show screenies with 250C temps and the likes...

Well the problem is my board doesn't seem to go below -6 ?? I know my mach2 gt will do -15 th - 20 under 210W of heatload so what the heck is going on is it my cpu's ihs?? it just annoys me seeing posative temps grrrrrrrrrr

Fatty mate - I had the same temp reading on my GT pre-R507 re-gas with clawhammer FX55 @ 12*268 - nothing wrong there unless youa re using r507.

Scorchio's was running -10 on same rig - Just the luck of the draw when it comes to how accurate the temps are on the DFI.

Damn you DFI!!

Yeah I am using an r507 unit which I am tunning with the cpu as I lugged all my crap home last night to try it out grrrrrrrr I need a chilly1 thats all there is for it looool

I dont realy want to sand my ihs for warranty purposes loool otherwise I would remove and re seat the ihs :)
