Corsair CX750M coil whine?

On Thursday I took delivery of a Corsair (CWT) CX750M PSU. I was fully aware it's effectively a CWT PSU with a Corsair sticker on it but I only had a certain budget and I wanted a modular supply so I went ahead and ordered it.

Now I'm regretting that decision. I'll let the video explain -

I've posted on the Corsair support forum but it seems invisible to Corsair staff. I've submitted an RMA request but that's gone ignored for now at least.

Does anyone know what is causing the noise? For the record the PSU is the only component I've changed in the system and the noise never happened before. It's definitely coming from within the PSU and it's not the fan.

i had a couple of GX (new and old style) squeal and tone under load..
so basically, if its not HX or AX or silverstone strider quaility.. ill save up..

I got a CX500M yesterday and i havent noticed any coil whine. Even with all the fans off. My old psu had really bad coil whine and it is usually from unsettled dust. Is your rig dusty or was it dusty before you installed it?

i have a corsair CX430 and if you look at my rig it must be running under an extreme load and its been great! get an RMA?
