Console vs PC

It's all down to preference. Personally I'll be gettng Bioshock, Crysis and UT3 on PC...but I would never get a racing game/beatemup on a PC as I don't like playing those sort of games on the PC

Gears of war got me really into consoles, very well done game and still looks better than anything currently on the PC (until those mentioned above come out)

And Gears will be out on PC too. Idk, have you played CoH in DX10? Thats perty good looking.

Still doesn't beat Gears for pure awesome cinematic effects/graphics. And yes it is out on PC but with the control system I can't see it being as good

Reason I don't get racing games on the PC is for several reasons:

* They look just as awesome on next-gen consoles

* I like sitting back from them and playing on a big screen TV whilst sitting on the sofa

* 5.1 sound is set up easier on my console than on my PC

* I'm a "pick up and play" gamer and find it far easier to do this than on a PC where I get easily distacted and always find myself faffing about

* I find gaming with my mates is enabled far easier on the console (notwithstanding we can sit on the sofa)

Ever played Flatout at a LAN party? Beat any console experience i ever had multiplayer cept one of me and by friends Xbox LANS. Thats Halo2 though not a racing game.

Aye exactly. Like I said: FPS is better on a PC, mainly due to the control system

Not that console FPS isn't fun, I just find it a little frustrating

I find fps on console frustrating too! I have had a bit of fun on my mates 360 with COD and Gears of War (and yes that does look stunning) in the past, but I found myself getting really annoyed at times!

With regards to multiplayer gaming on a console, I'd love to hook a few up together to play Flatout, Halo or anything really. I don't like split screen gaming tbh

If you wanna play original Halo or Flatout play on PC at a LAN party with a bunch of people. It wipes our multiple Xbox LANs of the floor man.
