Lol I get whining all the time for not buying things for her, but I keep buying my computer parts!

Now next stop, put it all underwater and really crank out those overclocks!

That would be awesome, but it is something I have never done before. I'm not sure what I would really even need to handle it all comfortably. It really is disapointing the cards are too damn big to fit, not sure what Gigabyte was thinking there with those. And I think reference would have been a better choice if putting under water.

EKWB tend to make blocks for all the major bands non reference designs. putting water on them certainly would fix the space/heat issue.

There no time to start like the present!!! you've got an excellent community here with years and years of experience to help get you through your first custom loop!

Something like these kits are alway a good start point
XS-PC kit
or
EKWB kit

and i just had a look the Gigabyte 980 G1 Gaming currently has a waterblock under development and shall be released soon from EKWB.

A select few of many pictures taken today. I got a cheapo light/backdrop set off of eBay and had to test it out since I like my pictures. Need to bring an iron to get all the wrinkles out.

Thanks guys! I am now on the fence on replacing my middle screen with a 4K. Right now they are three 1440P screens, but 4k would be nice! It might bug me though to have non matching screens.

To get the wrinkles out of your backdrop, you can:
1. Get it damp and put it in a dryer if it is set up to be removable from the frame, or
2. Get it damp by spraying with a misting bottle and let it air dry with a little tension on it to hold it open and flat.

You might want to check your white balance to make sure it's set to your new light source.

The Asus PB287Q 4K monitor showed up today. It was an open box deal. It has replaced my center 1440P screen, so now I have to find a use for an extra 1440P monitor. Those extra pixels sure make games look even better! However, normal desktop use is taking some getting used to with everything so tiny. I can not change the desktop scale otherwise it does for the other 2 screens as well. They then look horrible, so I just leave it at 100% scaling.

The monitor has a few scuffs on the back side but the front has no blemishes that I can see.

Just removed the backplates on cards 2 and 3, so they all fit nicely together now. Dont have to use 3 flexible SLI bridges now and can use the rigid 3-way. A lot more room in between to breath.

Red, gold and green together seem a little too much. I am not so sure about the green components on this board, but I like Gigabyte boards overall. G1 Killer all green theme may be still very good nowadays.

You are right. I usually read text after I am interested in the pictures.
I was commenting on the board not your build. I do not understand why you are so angry about that. I would make the same change as you have any ways.

I thought you were talking about the entire build. Color has nothing to do with why it was changed as it wasnt seen anyways. And the gold audio connectors does that really matter lol

This is a rig gallery not a project logs section please remember that - only completed rigs are to be put here

Then it can be moved. A rig is never complete or finished. Its always changing for me at least. I guess I cant have those individual component pictures?
