If your migrating it's as little as the time it takes to notice your old ISP connection has lost synch followed by the time it takes for you to enter your IDNet connection details and reconnect.

You can use a MAC code as i'm doing it at the moment. I've requested a MAC code from My ISP and am moving ASAP.

But how do you go about migrating to IDNet on the Forum Offer of 14.99 a month for unlimited usage?

I now have my MAC Code and wish to switch to IDNet asap to avoid paying another months service to F2S.

Cheers

Dont know if the deal is as good as finding this website

IDnet Broadband Feedback From Those Who Use It -> Click Here <-

As far as i know contract is a monthly contract so if you are not happy you can move to another isp quick and painless but i doubt it it would be necessary as most users happy with IDNET services.

No its not the point. They won't do that but it would be nice if the people who have taken advantage of this offer do two things:

1: Recommend IDNET to other people (at the normal services from their website)

2: Stay around on :anisx: and tell their friend about this great resource and community :D

Couldn't agree more about the resource and community esprit de corps on here. It'll be interesting to see how many new IDNet via Sysxtreme members are still here in a year's time.

Happy New Year to all.

Surely people should be given the benefit of the doubt, like myself. I have no intention of signing up for IDNet and then sodding off from the forum. Not all people are false!

That goes for me, I may well join IDNet, and will freely admit to being attracted here for that reason. However having got here, even if I do join will still hang arround, find the place very attractive, I reckon that makes IDNet good publicity. One day I may even pluck up courage to try overclocking. :D

I found this website thro Adsl Guide and am interested in Idnets offer, but to be honest if this site was something like flower arranging i would not have registered and left as it was of no interest to me. I see it as is a win win situation for Idnet (more recommendations) and this site recommendations for more members too.Happy new year to one and all

Anyone else still having problems with their IDnet connection. It's really weird. Can only get about 20% of websites (e.g. this being one). Can also get MSN Messenger and Hotmail. Outgoing SMTP is ok but incoming POP3 is not. Thought at first it was a DNS problem but I've ruled that out. Any ideas?

Yeh im having that too, I think it is DNS, Im going to try using a couple of Zens servers and see if that makes any difference. I'm also considering running a DNS server on my laptop to see if it makes any difference. It could be that certain sites have the IDNet DNS servers blocked by their firewalls, OcUK had a problem with its forum's firewall blocking BullDog DNSs recently

Thing is though, when I do download, I get ~250 kbs, so its not like its a qos problem :\
