Time for a little floppy -> molex connector for mu Xonar DX:

Done:

I'm getting better at this :p

Then it was time for the psu molex cable! Looked difficult to do at first 'cause I have no pins to recrimp the cables so I couldn't take them all apart to sleeve. But I figured it out somehow, just takes some pulling cables through the sleeve, very careful!

One cable from the molex cable done:

The rest will come later, battery from camera is dead for now...

Cheers mate ^^

Molex cable is done and installed! I'm SO proud of this one :D

Quickly sleeved another 4pin extension to power the fan controller (luckily Corsair supplies two of these short babies with the ax850, thank god (=Corsair)!)

And this is the 600T with the molex installed :D

Now let's try to power the system on again and see if nothing goes boom :p

Nope, it didn't go boom.
I just came back from a 3 week holiday in France and some work was waiting for me :D
I finished the 2 x 6+2 pci-e cable today! These cables have a few 'double wires' (2 wires in the same hole in the connector). Initially I wanted to cut one of them shorter, solder them together somewhere in the middle and crimp the connector again so that it would all be nice and the same. BUT... That idea wasn't executed. Just too much of a hassle ;/ Instead I just sleeved a part of the wires together at the psu-side so that I could split them somewhere behind the motherboardtray. You won't be able to see it there and the 'fatter' cable the goes into the connector you also won't see because it's at the psu-side and at the bottom of the connector ^^
I'm not complétely happy with it because it's not what I had in mind, but it's almost not noticable and it saved me a lot of trouble.
Here you can see what I mean:

(again some fresh thumb-wounds :p corsair could really make their psu-cables easier to remove)

I'm about to put that into the case now, hope it still works and then make some pictures ^^

Only the 24pin left!

Here we go, this is how it now looks:

Only the big 24pin left :)
HDD is going in a scythe himuro at the bodem.
Apart from that I'm going to try to create some effect with white nxzt leds...

I Appreciate the time and effort involved in braiding as i'm a bit of a braidophile myself. Howver to my eyes the end result (in the case) just loks too messy and is detracting from the beauty of your braiding.

Try having the cables run in similar directions so there appears to be a flow through the case, or perhaps do away with some of the longer lengths by hiding more round the back.

Your work is good, But I have a feeling you can make it better :)

Looks good, but i agree with g-dubs, with a bit of clean up near the PSU would make it look much tidy :)

I also think do something to hide the cables that are visable in the space that would normally be covered by the 3.5" bay. Even if the bay is going back in they will still be visable.

Come on man, you'll love yourself for it if you give these a good tidy up.

Yeah I was looking at it myself and found the result messier than the one I had in mind, I'm going to try to tidy it up for sure! Didn't put so much time in it to make it look messy :p
So don't worry, still in production phase ;-)

nice work m8 :) love the b/w themed rigs.
let me ask u sth , did u change the noctua fans with enemax ones?

What do you mean with 'sth'? :p
But yes, it took me blood, sweat and tears, but I had to change them. The brown just didn't fit the whole :( (enermax cluster 120mm white led fans)
The NH-D14 is über massive overkill for the tiny processor I'm running so performance-wise I loose nothing. I'm going to wait until haswell to upgrade I guess, unless I find a very good deal for an i5 2500K/3570K+mobo.

I've rearranged almost every cable now! Looking much better now, if I may say so myself. Pics will be up when I have better light to make them.

Nice work on the braiding, but as mentioned it does look quite messy. You should route all of the cables from the PSU through the grommet/hole closest to the PSU and as G-dubs mentioned, try to hide the cables behind the 3.5" bay area.

24pin is prepared to be sleeved!

And this is how I rearranged it! Better? :p

Tell me what you think!

Looks very nice! THe blue PCB looks out of place tho.

And are those Enermax fans any good? They look rather cool.

Lol yeah I know :p 2x 5770's, one black, one blue pcb. Totally wrong.

And yeah the enermaxes do a very good job! Getting the same temperatures as with the original noctua's. I control them with a fancontroller though (scythe kaze master pro 5,25)

Thanks for all the comments btw :D I'm far happier with it too.
