Chasing Dreams

looking much better.
why don't u spray paint the cpu coolers top black? only the part is visuable through the window

Lol yeah I know :p 2x 5770's, one black, one blue pcb. Totally wrong.

And yeah the enermaxes do a very good job! Getting the same temperatures as with the original noctua's. I control them with a fancontroller though (scythe kaze master pro 5,25)

Thanks for all the comments btw :D I'm far happier with it too.

How about the noise? Are they any louder than the noctuas?

Looks a damn site better, still might be tempted to bring that GPU cable through the hole closest to it though, like the other ones are.

Well worth while though. and well done

enermax fans are boss, i have 9 in my rig - silent

1 question when you turn down the fan speed do you get a buzzing noise and do the leds on your fan start to have a spaz attack?

Looks soooooooo much better, correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think you had to label all the cables in the 24 pin, they are all the same lol

Nope, no freaky fans at low speed :p

Nope, not noticably louder than the noctuas. Not to me at least. Ruthless_villain agrees with me :p
Tom once used these exact same fans in one of the earlier builds he did. May be even back in the TTL Customs days.

Thanks ^^ I'll give it a try!

Better safe than sure. Or something like that :p
But some áre fatter then others and there are those enoying double split ones. Patience and organisation is needed when sleeving! ^^

24pin so far! One row done...

Really nice work, but if you route the front panel connections through the grommet above where the PSU cables are going it would look even better.

Boom, 24pin inside! And everything still works, hell yeah  :p

Now I'm waiting for something so I can 'hide' my HDD. Wondering how I have to sleeve those sata power adapters though...?

This is starting to look good, but there's a few things that i don't like:
The gpu's as mentioned don't look good together, an especially not in this build, the blue PCB looks awfull.
Allso the gold ocz ram don't fit the build! i would have changed it to some white vengeance LP stiks, it would look so much bether!
I allso spoted that some of the cables is posible to see throug the hole in the bottom, and it just looks a bit messy.

You gonna buy me some new matching gpu's? :p
Ram has indeed to be changed. It's still the first ram I ever bought :p 4gb of good old ocz gold value stuff. Corsair Vengeance lp white is indeed what I want... Or the new dominators, but they don't fit under the NH-D14 :(
Anyway, hardware could use an update in general. It's an amd athlon x4 640 on an asrock 870 extreme 3 with two 5770 vapor-x's.
Yeah yeah, the cooling is massive overkill. Unfortunately I'm still just a poor student, barely able to affort one 'upgrade' at a time.
When the HDD and the lights come along, I'll have to make changes to the cablesmanagement again, so that's for then. Now it's time to be able to play some bf3 again :p

Thanks for the comments! ^^

really a nice job!

and it looks like you have put alot of time into, both this project and this thread, very nice to see! ;)

I was wondering if you have any good hints that isnt covered in Nils' tutorial?
I am in the middle of a watercooled build in a white 600T aswell, and really thinking about getting some MDPC sleeving too :)
Also, how much sleeving/heatshrinking did you use for the whole case?
(you are welcome to PM me if you dont want this in your thread!) :)

again, very nice job!
