Chasing Dreams

Wow, that really is bloody marvellous!

I would at least give this a try and see how your temps are. I think I recall TTL also
reversing the inlet and outlet on Orca to get a neater loop layout, he didn't seem
to notice a remarkable effect on temps.

And agreed about the upside-down writing, that would be a nono for me as well...

You will see a very small higher temps, but think it is max 5c on your cpu ;) But that was on my own system, when i tryed it out ;)

Hm. Since TTL did it too, I'll give that a go.
I haven't seen my 2500K go over 55°C yet (34°C outside, inside ambient of 26+°C) on 4,7ghz @ 1.3v. Idle is around 40°C now. Fans always spinning really slow :p

Anyways, thanks for the nice comments! ^^

Yiir do it mate, and you will like the look of the loop and if you hit 60°C then you dont have any problem :D

Small teenie tiny update. Which makes my blood boil.

My ASUS GTX660Ti DCUII is broken. I send it back via the shop I bought it from. I'm waiting for like 3 weeks to hear anything from it now...

The bright side: it provides me with an excuse to change little things. Change in and out from the cpu block and get a full cover block for the gpu. I'm even thinking of changing the gpu all together actually. If only the funds would allow it. Selling the RMA'ed 660Ti, selling my NH-D14, selling the universal gpu block, ... A 770 maybe? Not ASUS, that's for sure :p or an AMD never-settle one. All those games do make them look nice for the price. Any suggestions maybe?

I'd say a 7950 / 7970 would be an epic deal. If you were to sell the included games, it would probably be cheaper than a 660Ti :)

Allllrighty then. I got a new GTX660Ti (OC version this time, free upgrade ftw!)

And I got a full cover block too. I tried cutting costs with a universal block, but I've learned my lesson. Don't know if inadequate cooling was the cause of faillure with the previous card, but I won't take the risk again. Never, I promise! :p

Fitted. This was só easy :p another reason never to go universal block again.

Using the link-part, because otherwise inlet and outlet would both point upwards.

Everything seems leak-less now. Bleeding in progress ^^

(changed in and out ports of the cpu block too btw)

And now was temps after the change mate? :)

Temps are superb :p it's of course winter now (18,5° in the room)

GPU: idle at 19°C
CPU: idle at 31-35°C

While playing BF3, GPU goes to 35-40ish maybe. CPU to 55°C max I believe.
