cant view profile

everytime i try to see somebodys public profile i get this :wavey: I even get this when i try to see my own profile :stickpoke

GrimReaper, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

There's a 20 or 30 post minimum before you can view them

Have you tried today. The update isn't instant but you are definitely in the validated users group now.

It's a good job this is stickied, as I was just about to ask why I couldn't see my own profile!

The standard "you do not have permission to access this page" message isn't very helpful, especially if you are simply trying to view your own profile - being denied access to your own profile is very unfriendly and it just seems like the functionality is broken. At least this thread is stickied but it would be more user friendly if the permission denied page could explain the reason access is denied.
