Can you add too much dye?

Would there be any unforseen consequences if Tom loaded up Shadow H2O with so much red dye that it was nearly black? Would it start to block things up?

Like a really, really dark blood red, like this or deeper.

Edit: Why did I put coolant in the title, not dye?

Yes you can put to much dye in blood red how ever ....

Our new blood red in a pre mix has one hell of a lot of dye in so it really all depends on which dye.

E.g Deep blue or blue doesn't need much dye as this is all ready concentrated down as much as it can be how ever red is a different matter, because its a much lighter colour than blue and lets light though easily you do need more than normal to create deeper darker colours. the main draw back from all of this is staining.

E.g here is the new blood red pre-mix that i have been working on that's just come out of long term testing. Now we test our liquids on HK water cooling blocks so if it going to block up any system it will defo show on ours. Now this has over

60 drops of Mayhems Dye Red

5 Drops of Mayhems Dye Deep Blue (new strong version)

10 drops of Mayhems Dye UV Pink

All tested fine only it does stain tubing like mad. If you didn't add in the UV pink which gives it a nice luminous colour (which normal blood has) or didn't add in the blue (which blood again has a bit of blue tinge to it) you would need more red to counter balance it.

Now this in real life looks pretty dam close to blood how ever it all so depends on light.
