Business ideas?

In my school we are doing the Young enterprise project, There is about 10 groups each with 10 people and as I and a few others in my group are doing Higher Business so that side of things is sorted but the actual product/service is what we are having trouble with, No one has a clue what to do.

So far my only idea was to sell custom stick's of rock for a couple of quid each.

Budget for startup is only £100

Anyone got any ideas? :)

Could you make some sort of lan event with a pc cluster if you have like a school fair or something. Spend £100 on prizes and have say 30 - 40 pcs with 50p a play?

My friend did this, his company came joint first in the finals. He's currently creating his own business, and yesterday he went to an entrepreneurial festival and met a load of the megarich. This program is a huge opportunity for you :)
This is what he did; bought cheap candles for around £4 each, dressed them up in fancy packaging etc. and sold them for £20 to a bunch of wealthy old women at fairs etc.
Presentation + identifying your intended audience is key.
Also, he started his own range of tacky jewellery, buying the chains etc. in bulk and assembling it himself.
In the end, his company made over £2,000 :)

Just bear in mind that buy low, sell high is only the main concept. Its matching what you buy to your customers desires that is the key.

I think you should do 50 shades of grey themed nights. Buy books off of ebay and facebook buying sites off of all the girls that have read them, go to an old peoples home and sell them to the old grannies at 4x what you bought them for. Then do another party a week later and sell them gaffer tape cable ties. As they say, strike while the iron is hot.
