At a slow speed there is not bursting the other side of the panel, its the burst thru that causes the cracking as you already know.

I like the 'stock' modding style, mainly as it is accessible to those without a CNC in the shed or bottomless pockets, much like your current build...its all about the little details.

stylizing cases is different art for most..

looking through posts and alot dont even wanna make a side window-panel
for their rig.. they'd rather buy it done...

Working with plexi takes patience and a gentle touch but its not impossible and the results are great.
I get more out of making than buying myself.

Looking good :)
Are you going to remove that tiny, noisey fan on the motherboard? That can get extremely irritating when the system is under load. I found that with my AsRock X79 Extreme9 south-bridge fan.

We have a Rampage 4 system here--with the fan set to auto in the bios you never here it at all, at least I never have. I know Tom mentioned it was noisy on the original model he tested but I think there has been an updated bios since then. When I built the rampage 4 system in march there was 5 or 6 different settings on the motherboard for the fan including completely off, fixed speed, user set parameters, full auto, etc

My sabertooth x79 fan is the loudest thing in my system, and its bloody anoing. And i beleeve asus have used the same fan om the savertooth aswell as the RIVE

Well Im just saying I've never noticed the Rampage one at all (and I am fussy about noise). If it's the same then you should be able to manually set the speed of yours in the bios? It lets you turn it right off in the rampage bios too.
