[Build Log] Mil-Spec

It might look good yellow but the brushed metal with the logo look to pretty to cover up.

The first bits start to arrive.

This will be used if I cant get a D5.

Now....i want to wrap the hold down pieces in Di Noc..or spray them yellow also.

I prefer DiNoc for these small detail pieces myself so thats probably how i will go.

Thanks Again to....

Well I have to admit that when I saw the gorgeous, elegant finish of that Cuplex block, it certainly was one of the most pretty ones Id seen, then when I saw the carbon wrap my heart just sank. I guess I just do not understand the whole appeal of carbon. That is certainly one of the most beautiful blocks Ive seen though and if I every set-up a water cooling system in my own build I would definitely want something like that.

Just a small update...

The customer came round yesterday to have a look at the progress and to deliver a second 660Ti.

So,while the rig was out of the box,i installed the OS and got myself ready for doing the loop when the final bits arrive from XSPC.

And Yes,there will be a Sli cover going on that ugly ASUS bridge.

Looks very good also those GPU's , shame they put those power connectors at the side :(
my GTX680 also has them at the side but at the end , still ugly tho....

Looks awesome dude, just the right hints of yellow - very nice and tidy. I hope it looks as clean as that after the loop goes in, for me, I would settle for where it is now....

Right, another little update,Fan controller is here along with a concealed spring kit and the lighting.

A huge great wiring loom....not ideal, hopefully the functionality will be worth it.

Concealed spring kit for the waterblock, not keen on the black nickel finish so a blast with a rattle can for these..

The drive bays are recessed which plays in to my plan of a 3 bay cover plate covering the res and the fan controller.
