SCAN 'TODAY ONLY' section has the HD superclocked cheaper @ £245.99 compared to ARIA's £275.99, and better EVGA cards, and to get the deal you must use this specific section and not the main page for the card, so here's a link to the section: http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/index.aspx and below is links to the cards specific SCAN page:

EVGA Classified 570: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1280...22mhz-shader-1645mhz-480-cores-dp-hdmi-plusfr

this has 2.5 GB memory, i like

These 3 look excellent, I think the extra memory is needed

+ with EVGA is their warranty covers overclockin and overvolting, well it does for my 480 so I hope the 570 gets the same respect, and for 10 years.

The AMD look good value but I don't trust it enough

Don.t know if you have looked at it but the msi 560ti hawk would be a very good card for bf3 not too cheap not to expensive

This EVGA 2GB 560Ti is £229. Again it's the extra memory that's unique and very needed I think, BF3 is packed full of data to process. Though the 570's better, especialy with another 500MB memory(again go to 'TODAY ONLY' section for the special price): http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-...r-1645mhz-384-cores-2x-dl-dvi-i-mhdmi-plusfre

300 notes put you comfortably in the 570 ball park. i got a MSI 570 Twin frozr III for about £270 and its a cracking card, frames never dropped below the mid 40s on ultra on the BF3 beta

Get the 570 over the 560ti.... i wish i had bought the 570 instead of the 560ti it is just so much better imo

Hey i have A MSI 570 Hawk and when i play BF3 everything full never get under 42fps and i have overcloaked my card to 900/1800 and 2400 on memory... so my frames sit at 50-56 fps and temps are 71 never more

overcloaked? Lmao I remember you writing that on another thread.

I think it might be worth waiting for the retail version to be released to see some real benchmarks.

On the BETA with high textures but no AA etc I was getting 50-80fps on my HD5770 @ 1080p with the fps averaging at around 60 on metro. On caspian I was seeing fps drops on different areas of the maps and floating buildings etc which is why I think it's probably best to wait for retail.

To me, from playing the BETA the main strain on the graphics was all the lighting effects.

I'm pretty oldschool so don't really see the need for all the blinding lighting effects & reflections on the water in puddles etc. (so if there is an option to disable the majority of this I will use it, more into the competitive play of games like cs:s where people focus more on gameplay than pretty leaves and shiny puddles)

When the game comes out it should be a lot more optimised and a lot less buggy than the BETA.

Well if you are looking for the best card for that budget, I'd say the 570 is definitely worth the money, it overclocks well, as does the 560Ti. AMD 6970 or 6950 isn't a bad choice, but the nVidia cards, especially when coupled to a Twin Frozr cooler, are insane.
