Owner Videos

If you're going to contribute to user made videos please run them at 4K when possible with maximum settings, Anti-aliasing is optional and use Fraps or Rivatuner for the FPS counter on screen.

Best bet is to record in 4K but render out in 1080P 60FPS as 4K 60FPS uploading takes an age plus only the FPS matter any way.

Excuse the potato quality, my phone doesn't do all that well when the lighting isn't good.
The 8pin cable is a bit messy right now, but i'd have to disassemble it to get rid off the second one.

I'm running two Nvidia GTX 1070s that I bought from Nvidia. Wouldn't recommend buying from them directly as it was a pain. Anyway..

poorly focused interior shot. I do need a camera and some natural light.

here are some benches. Running stock boost clocks on the GPU and the CPU is a 3.5ghz i7 4770k.
Firestrike Extreme- 12549
Firestrike- 18517 (SLI) 14259 (the god tier card on its own)
I've got two very different performing cards. Interestingly I've not managed to get the top one to actually reach 83c and it instead will always hit the max boost clock these cards come with. No coil whine at all too. The other card isn't as good but still acceptable. I've yet to overclock as my CPU currently can't go past 4ghz...
Temperature in SLI is very acceptable. As you can see in the image I'm only running one intake fan (a noctua redux something-or-other running at 5v) and neither card gets too warm. I'd infact say that these two together perform more thermally acceptable than my old 780Ti. I'm going to run the 3d mark stress test to see where it struggles thermally, but I'm 99% sure it'll be the cpu.

In terms of drivers, its mostly been plain sailing. It has been as OK as it was running my old setup.

-edit- I should clarify, by max boost clocks I mean (i think) that the power limit is stopping the card (s) from going further. I've not seen that before on a NV card with a blower type cooler.

When i monitored the baseclock during benchmarking it went up to 1900Mhz in the beginning and then slowly dropped to 1800Mhz when the card heated up, so i don't think it's the powerlimit.

I love the idea behind this thread. :)

Perhaps a dedicated Pascal OC thread is needed? Don't know if OC talk should be here or elsewhere.

I would love a list of what OCs people get on different cards

I could include it in a list just under the OC3D Owners part of the thread perhaps ?

Example: OC3D GTX 1070/80 Overclock Results

I chuffing love it when you do stuff like this Dice x

@TTL For these type of threads would it be possible for the person updating the thread to be able to use the first few posts instead of being limited to the first one.

The reason for this is that there is an awful lot of information that can go into them and being able to split it across several posts at the start makes editing a lot easier.

@Dicehunter Nice to see an owners thread over here.:)

I have been having a lot of fun with my MSI gtx 1070 Gaming x heres my current progress with firestrike. +100 on core +600mhz on memory. I seem to be hitting a wall at 2075mhz no matter what voltage i use.

Guaranteed to give TTL a visual crisis.:D

There is not much right about my 1080 PC, the colours don't match and the layout is awful but I don't care.:D:)
