Better GPU?

Hey Guys i'm going to buy a new Build
with 8 GB Ram and Core i5 4670K and Asus h97 Pro gamer and Corsair VS650W
and now i want to ask which better GPU in the performance and future gaming 1080P!
i dont care with the power efficient

GTX 970 or R9 290x?
and which Brand ?
or there is another Better GPU and costs about 400$?

I'd say GTX970 due to it's newer, better power consumption (even though you don't care about that), more horses, and outputs less heat, meanwhile costing about the same

Umm... that I don't know, but the Gigabyte has one more fan, it has 3 fans, rather than 2, so should theoretically perform better.

I got the ASUS GTX970 Strix today actually, since it seems to have the best rep at the moment. I was going for Gigabyte, but that card is too long to fit inside the Corsair 380T case, which is an ITX case. Otherwise I would've considered it.

Other than that, as Excalabur50 said, either ASUS or MSI
