Best fan for PCP&C 510 SLI...

Right im sick of how much noise this PSU puts out and i wanna change it for the most silent one i can find without rtisking it overheating.

Can someone recomend me one to use..?

Im also looking for some realy silent fans for some of my PC cases so if you could recomend me some for that aswell would be great.

Yate-Loon for the case fans, cheap and completely silent

Panaflo L1A fans for the PSU ?

After much disscusion here and greif from it i fitted 2 panaflows i think..Gray did it for me as part of my system case/cooling mod!

panaflo, papst, yate loon as suggested, the latter tow are kinda hard to get hold of, so nexus are basically rebadged yateloons.

i think its 80x25 in the PCP&C... and i assume you know what size fans you need for your case...

i happen to have a few yates going spare (80mm and 120mm) if you wanna pm me if interested

I got to 80's in there one std at the front and then a 15mm inside as there aint much room, also put it on the main 12v lines as to the swtiching around side of it

As Drazic said it is a good idea if you can fit two fans on the PSU, I think you may have problems with just one quiet fan, otherwise I'd assume PCP&C would have done it themselves.

That's right - It'll get very toasty otherwise and actually shut off when under load. You'll have to wait for it to cool down before it'll reset.

Your best option is probably to sell it and buy a quieter PSU...
