3.3 is only ram in a modern comp

Yep afaik 3.3v is for ram only (apart from some motherboards where it comes off the 5v rail)

this is why instead of using the 5v rail, you can simly turnup the pots on your adjustible psu's 3.3v rail and get a safe way to have extra voltage.

I must have missed this discussion but I had already advised FEAR to get a new PSU

glad Jim corrected the posts tho - Nick was right lol

I think his RAILs are too low.

He can't even get past stock speeds on his proc with his system!
