Awesome SLI Bridges

Here is a pic of my bridge fitted.

Actually £33 isn't too bad if you're going to be spending upwards of £600 on cards.

Yeah whats £33 for an SLI bridge after £1100 of cards, oh and £46 of backplates, not forgetting the rest of the rig. I better put it in my sig to get £33 worth of epeen out of it too!

Is that picture upside down Kaapstad? Or is the bridge upside down, surely you could just turn it around.

I would spend £30 on one personally. I mean I've spent £30 on a mouse pad, £50 on PSU cables, £20 on some plastic to attach to a pump, £15 for a flow indicator, £100 for an acrylic res etc..

It's just how it is if you want luxury items like that

It's not upside down, it's the case which has the cards at the top. I went for this case as it allows me to fit 3 x 480mm rads.

Unfortunately a 4 way sli connector will only fit one way round.

Having said that it looked terrible when the air coolers were fitted, all the GeForce logos upside down.

The Silverstone TJ08 sprung to mind, but like you said he could turn it round. So maybe not.

The case is a Little Devil V8 Reverse.:)

Not suggesting you break apart your shiny new toy, but I wonder if the front EVGA fascia comes off, and you could rotate it 180°, and reseat it

It looks really good, When i get my next 780, ill be ordering a 3 way one (as ill be gapping a slot (hopefully it will still work) and the back plates for them both

Just tried it and it almost worked.

The top is held on by 4 alien bolts, unfortunately they are not symmetrically placed (one pair are closer to the centre than the other) and the holes did not line up in the PCB.

Do you have a picture of it apart just for inquisitiveness? Don't worry if you put it back together, the big ones look different to the single bridge. I hope I can do something with it.

Sorry I didn't realise 4-way SLI bridges weren't reversible, i've seen so many weird combinations for 3-way and 2-way I thought it didn't matter what the hell you did so long as they were all connected some how ;)

That's a right bummer, hopefully they they will revise an edition where it can be switched.

Unfortunately it is now back together. If someone wanted to they could use glue to stick the top on the other way round as the logo lines up with the LEDs whichever way round the top is on.
