Astro Headset Deals

Anyone have any good leads on deals for Astro headsets? My Logitech G930's crapped out on me, a shame because they are just now a year old. I have already started an RMA ticket but I am done with them. The wireless headset was a great concept that wasn't carried out so well with these. I am looking to make the switch to a decent gaming headset, and frankly I've heard nothing but good come out of the Astro line. Im looking more for the A40 due to budget, also don't see much need for the mix amp at the moment as currently it's an added cost, and should I decide I need it, I can always add it later.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have a safe and Merry Christmas, or Happy Holidays to those not celebrating Christmas.

Hello mate, I had Astro A40s with the mix amp pro 2015 for a good year and I loved them :) If your into FPS games then Astro should do the trick.

Gaming headsets are rubbish at decent audio. You are much better off buying a desktop mic and a decent set of headphones.

All of this ^^

I bought myself the Sennheiser HD518 headphones which are to be paired with the Samson meteor, both of which are replacing my now buggered Cooler Master Pulse R headset ill never buy a headset again after the trouble I've had.

All gaming headsets seem to be made with kids in mind or just modeled on their head size, the bands are always too tight, silly leds, inline controllers.

I use the HD 518's and they're lovely and very comfortable. Pair them with a half decent Asus soundcard and trust me you'll be blown away. I play FPS and can hear all around.
