AquaXtreme MP-1 or Maze 4???

Hi

I just noticed the MP-1 block and must say at first sight it look rather identicfal to the maze 4, i was wondering if anyone could tell me what the actual performace of the block is like.

Does it match or better the maze 4 and does it have enough clearing to for ram sinks on gfx card.

I know that the maze 4 allows ram sinks to be added for extra cooling on 1800 cards.

I have that block and i'd say its the same as the maze 4.

It has enough clearence for ramsinks yes.

One thing about it is the body isnt delrin/metal like the maze 4, its plastic, which i think is good because it weighs less and puts les stress on the gfx card .

for £30 all in i dont think you can go wrong mate

wow thats perfect, i even have the same ram sinks , thx for the info mate looks like i will be getting one of these for my 1800xl, or 1800XXT 512 if i manage to snag a cheap one

Tom, it is delrin, the whole construction is. And delrin is a good thing, as it wont crack over time unlike acrylic.
