Apple has now released a book called "Designed by Apple in California", a 450-page picture book which will cost Apple fans between $200-300.

Weird thing is that I actually like the idea behind this book, but the price is stupidly high.

If it were affordable I'd actually consider buying it, as I love Apple's older products.

Yes for sure. I'm not the biggest fan of apple products, but for like £30 this would be a great thing to have. I can't blame Apple though, because they know people are going to buy this anyway.

Apple have never failed to amaze me with their designs. Not sure about the latest because they are pretty plain but yeah, back in the day they just blew everything else away.

Whether or not I would want a book full of it though? dunno. I mean, it's kinda like when a lion licks its balls. Not something I really need to see.

smart though, all that stuff they don't make or sell anymore and its still making them money.=00=
 
Notice how there is also no headphone jack?

I bet on the back somewhere it says "Dongle sold separately"
 
Tbf Apple have always done the best internals in the business if you go on looks based alone. In terms of their modern machines especially. no wiring, Minimal design and black PCB everything is probably something certain component manufacturers should take inspiration from..

Just a shame they won't as this book is so hilariously overpriced I thought it was an old April Fools joke recycled.
 
I would have understood a price around 70€, as it's 450 pages, and must have required a lot of work to prepare all the photos........but no, 200¤ it is....
 
Actually pretty cool - the price is at a certifiable level of ridiculous but yeah it's apple so nothing new there.. Surprised it doesn't have a proprietary form factor that requires a special coffee table stand.

Did I miss something here, or is that thing supposed to project a holographic book or something? Cause the price would make sense if so :D

Would be a pretty nice thing to have, regardless of cost.
 
Have to agree, it would be a nice book at a respectable price, but Apple being Apple they just know they have enough fans with unlimited pockets that will buy this in droves regardless.
