ok so we set up a rust server just recently because it was in a humble bundle for about £4, and we didnt really relish the thought of being absolutley destroyed within seconds of joining a server..

all is well and so on. BUT we could do with some more players online. have all the anti hack stuff running and the admin cheat flag is set as well so admin/mods cant cheat either "its my server and im not a fan of cheating"

been having some laughs and so on.

Any way thought id throw it out there incase any one wants to come and play. We have our own little group of 4. and we have a base but thats about it really.

probably best to build a distance away from us as some of my team mates may shoot you if you dont reply promptly. and you are welcome to shoot at us 1st if you want but we will retalliate.
we are generally peaceful, but do understand that after a while some people may want to attack us..

It a community "not legacy" server. no mods installed at least not for now. may add some later to add more danger on the npc side of things.
This is not a cracked server because that would undermine the whole anti cheating thing we have.

We are lenient towards people with a VAC ban. "one of our team mebers was hacked about 9 years ago and steam vac banned him because of the hackers actions, so he has 1 vac ban that is 9 years old, so we understand there can be problems with bad bans"
Multiple ones will be frowned upon..

any way server is up and running 24/7 saves are made frequently. i have made a bat file that checks for ioerrors "if the game fails to save" this auto restarts the server so it can save again reducing possible loss to 5mins of work. and the server drive has shaddow copy enabled incase a backup fails.
Its pretty well protected from accidental roll back.

P.P.S

Server has frequent saves. backups, and shadow copy enabled. it also is running a custom bat file that checks for errors that show the game didnt save in the log files then restarts the server if it finds any, so you can only ever loose 5 mins worth of building/exploring progress max​
