Hmm, I have done a Super PI run and a 3Dmark03 and yet to get any points.

Do you just get them if you are amazing or something?

Have your resisted on the hwbot site? And associated yourself with OC3D team and validated your results etc?

Basically - yes.

High scores for certain hardware etc. I did have 70 odd points but as time goes by people enter better and better scores so mine become worth less. I went from 500th to 600th.

Seriously, can we group buy an ln2 pot and get some dice on?

Would be good.

I'm annoyed at hardware. My 2nd GT has to go back and the 680i + quad is an epic fail. So i think i might concentrate on some nice cooling solutions for a bit.:)

Sell the 680i mate

Shame about the GT though :(

Will see what come of jims offer, but cheers :p.

I've done a quick price up of a very basic design for a pot, and i could get the mats to make one up for ~£80. But thats just the metal, not mount kit or anything.

Couldn't we get away with a copper pipe (like some 2" diameter stuff from a hardware store) brazed onto a base plate of an old w/c block?

I have my old DD maze 5 lying around, with a cold plate too iirc... That could be a basic dice pot?

Sounds like a pretty gd idea tbh

It would work.

Hell, copper tube + cap would be cheaper and much easier to build.

But they miss out on mass and surface area.

What do you mean mass? More copper = better? I've never seen inside a pot, what do they look like?

I think I might try knock up a crude pot...

Threw in a bunch of scores today for a handful of things (that worked LOL).

Took all the benchmarkers and tried to run them all under Vista 64.

Probably 50/50 on what worked and what didn`t.

Tried a quadro 1500 card too - boy that`s poor, but it is a professional card, like a G71 chipset or something. Too bad it woulda taken a bios flash to take it any further, I maxed it`s core allowable clock LOL, didn`t even hit 60 degrees.

(done benching til I decide to get some new kit)

EDIT: oh are they going to list on the forum thread OPs if u enter online stats ? (think they will, just takes days to register or something)

Heard it might be quite nippy on the weekend, good chance for me to open all windows and bench :)

target: 4GHz if i'm ever so lucky lol
