AMD to intel Bsod after Bios

As some of you may know Ive recently switched from AMD to intel. Ive installed all my mew mobo, cpu etc, but after coming out from the bios even in safe mode, i am met by a black screen and the occassional BSOD if not in safe mode. Could a fresh install of windows 7 sort the issue out? I cant find my W7 disk which is a bitch too. Anyonr have an idea of any fix. Im out atm so i cant give any details of the blue screen readout. Think you need a fresh install Pex. I'd try that first.

?????????????????????????? what you went from AMD to Intel and didnt re-install????????????????????????? yeah mate you need to reinstall your issues are most likely driver issues. Hell I reinstall even when going from one intel to another just makes more sense to make it all clean and not have old drivers hanging about that can cause issues.

If you don't want to re-install pop in the Win 7 disk and run windows repair off of the disk, It should eliminate the need for re-install.

kinda, sorta will. the errant drivers lingering about from uninstalled devices can conflict

in a platform change. mainly chipset, USB and some LAN.
