AGP Graphics Card...

Well, I dunno about high settings, but just use the method in the guide and test slowly. Overclocking takes LOTS of patience whether it be your CPU, memory, or graphics card. Just take your time, and go step-by-step until you get the highest you can. If you're paranoid, just find your max and then clock it down like 5-10mhz

yeh evn if i go 3mhz up it doesnt overclok, i go up then clik test settings it works then when i click apply or ok my computer freezes and i have to restart (btw i have an agp 6200).....does that mean i em unable to overclok it? and i have tried the optimal settings but again the same problem was encoutred does anyone now why this is happening?

cheerss!

omg are u serz buggerrrrr, oh well thanks anyways peoples ur help is appricated and sorry 4 waisting ur time! looks like im gunna hav to stik to the 6600gt!

Np man, and it's not wasting our time. We're always happy to help :)

And could please refrain from using abbreviations? On some of them, I'm having trouble understanding what you're saying :p

yep sure no worries! Has anyone had a 6600gt before, just wanted to know if theres any problems with them on is there a real diff between brand name and generic?

Well, it would probably better to buy cards made by what I consider to be the mainstream manufacturers (XFX, eVga, BFG) as they have the best warranties (XFX - double lifetime; eVga - lifetime, supports everything except physical damage (thus considered the best by many as it supports overclocking and after-market heatsinks); BFG - lifetime) and they tend to be cheaper too

Off Topic - OMFG 500th post! Woot!

Why is that

its a Cheap Card ..Silent Cooled ..played COD2 and Bf2 on it and every game i ave and it works

And there you have it. It played. Not played well

Ive got to say llwyds was awful... although we cracked and clocked the crap out of it.

6200's are NOT designed with gaming in mind really. They're for people who need to get a half decent graphics card on a budget. Whats the point of playing todays lovely looking games at such a low detail level?

Why not go for something like a Sapphire X800 Pro.

I had one over a year ago and only payed £150 for it then from Hong Kong and up until i upgraded to a 7800GT in december last year, it played everything on max like BF2 etc and no doubt it will be even cheaper now.

About 99% of the people are trustworthy. Most scams are fairly obvious, though make sure you pay with Paypal and your address is verified. That way, if you do get scammed, you can just use the buyer protection services and get your money back. If you're going to get it on eBay, try to get an XFX one because of their Double Lifetime warranty (though now that I think about it, I'm not sure if they have it on their AGP cards...).
