AGP Graphics Card...

ok, what about brand wise, innovasion (that how you spell it?) xfx, albatron, leadtek etc most reccomended brand for the 7800gs?

Thanks!

Basicly if you want to leave it stock buy cheaper, If you want to overclock by more expensive.

What ever you get will work stock. If it doesnt an RMA will fix/replace it. But as PV said check the warrenties for theyre tolerances with tweaking.

If you can go for XFX, theyre cards seam to be top notch. Im using one now:D.

there no point in overclocking becuase even a innovasion 7800gs should be able to run bf2 and most wanted (games) on high for sure right?

can someone plzzzzzzzz go to www.arc.com.au (iv been trying all day to get onto the site and it wont let me :@) and check if that shop has a 7800gs agp for sale and what the price is and brand etcc... cheeeeeeerss

Which is the best out of point-of-view, leadtek and inno3d soz but i cannot be bothered to reasearch can any one tell me thanks!
Soz mate, but because this is going to be your card and not ours...'you need to research'!!!! You're going to be buying it for the games that you want to play, we have given you plenty of info on what to get, and what to look for. I have given you a link to e-tailer databases for competitive prices StaticIce, in fact, here is another one AusPrices. We don't mind for one instant in helping you decide which is the better, but you need to make the effort too. So you have a look at the sites I gave you for some cards in your price range, weigh up the pro and cons of each of them, taking into account that you may need to upgrade in the future (even though you said you won't). But there comes a point where you need to upgrade otherwise you have a really restricted upgrade path for the future. Have you looked at ATI as an option for your graphics card; if you still want to stay with AGP you could look at the X800 series which is fairly cheap and yet would provide you with some nice graphics. Anyway, check those links out I gave you for both Nvidia and ATI cards for AGP. Narrow it down based on warranty, bang for the buck, quality (word of mouth is great if your friends have some decent cards...ask them how they perform) and use Google to look for reviews on the cards you're looking at purchasing. But don't be lazy and expect everyone to do the work for you ;)

hahahhaha yeh i agree with you 100% and i have done my reasearch 100% i really couldnt find any differences thats y i thought maybe somone could but yeh its ok, im going with the inno 3d :D!!

hey which is betta Sapphire Technology RADEON X800 XT Platinum Edition, (256 MB) AGP Graphic Card or 6800gt (having a debate with a mate about it) i rekon the 6800gt is but my mate reckons the readeon is? any help?

cheers!

BF-2 uses Shader Model 2++ so I expect that it *may* be able to run the setting higher but not by much. Games sych as F.E.A.R. would most likely be a draw

what about a 7600GT...is that any better? A 7900GT would be good if you could stretch :)
