AGP Graphics Card...

Eh, I'm sure it is. The graphics card probably would be better to get retail as, behind the hard drive, it seems like it dies the most (o, and behind the power supply).

Well i have been shopping from ebay for over 2 years now and never been scammed once and had over 105 dealings

Yeah as kempez said, most things on there are totaly legit. I got my last card from there and it was fine...

i just had a look at ebay i could tell between the fakes and the real i had a look at a 9600xt 256mb agp is that any gud? its priced for $240 or something like that in the box sealed...

IMO is doesnt make all that much difference, you would only notice a different between maybe 128 and 512 or between really **** and really good mem

if i use that riva program to overclock my 6200agp will it work as i have already used the reg editor using the original nvidia overclclock programs but it didnt work will this one maybe work?

Well, based on the problems you experienced with Coolbits, I personally doubt it will work. If it had been an issue of the card failing the self-test, maybe. But as the problem is that your computer freezes up, it's more likely that your card just can't handle a higher clock.

6200's are NOT designed with gaming in mind really. They're for people who need to get a half decent graphics card on a budget. Whats the point of playing todays lovely looking games at such a low detail level?

Its plays all games well..and kempez i dont care wat u say if there not designed for gaming ..then tell me wat they are made for ..and its got pixel shader 2 and all that DDR 2 Memory

so THERE the Saphire X800 is crap ...its made by ATI ..

Your opinion would be correct mate. The 6200 was (its now the 7300) nvidia's low end card for n00b home users and those who wanted a media centre that could (in theory) play games - but not well. Yes it has SM3 features: but its such a slow card that it doesn't make use of them. An X800 is a far better card than a 6200 and always has been. All you have to look at is the price: £30ish - I hardly think its for the hardcore gamer is it?

This is a warning ComputersXP: You are incorrect and giving out information that is unbased, uninformed and plain wrong as well as ignoring those who plainly know much more than you. If you continue to do so you will be banned. You obviously do NOT read up on you hardware and you obviously do NOT know what is good or not. You have been warned Sir

Thanks

Kempez
