Graphics Card Going Bad? BSOD - Video_Scheduler_Internal_Error

Hi all,

I have owned my 7800xt since 2023 with the very latest drivers for this card and uninstall the current ones using DDU and like wise downloading the very latest drivers.
I was gaming just a couple of days ago when all of a sudden my computer "froze" then the BSOD popped up with Video_Scheduler_Internal_Error I goggled that and it appears to be relating to the Graphics card going bad?

Has anyone else had this issue?

Cheers
Rob

Has this been a repeated issue, or has it just happened once? Strange crashes can happen from time to time. I wouldn't worry unless it becomes a frequent thing.

Its happened since you could be playing and the system would lock up then the BSOD.
Ile be sending it back to Amazon. - I just need a suitable program to stress test the GPU for confirmation on what is going on.

OCCT has a good GPU stress test. Either try that or a benchmarking tool that has a looping mode.

Well, next stage, I've found out the seller on Amazon is located in Portugal! - So I've contacted Amazon Customer services and wait for 2 working days and file an A-Z Claim!

Hey Rob, Sounds like a driver or GPU fault, try a clean reinstall first, but if it keeps happening, the card might be failing.

Hey Dude,

Did a clean install a couple of times no go still the same deal, I took the card out of my system and no "crashes" so I'm using on board!
Filing an A-Z Claim via Amazon now so should get a refund very soon - £539.00
So what could I replace it with? Heres what I currently have:
