Faulty GPU

I only order from Scan now if I am desperate and I always make sure to order through Ebay (I never buy directly from Scan only on their Ebay store) so that if they get funky I just call in Paypal to take care of it.

Why not just pay through PayPal on their website?

The thought never even occurred to be tbh. The last time I was ordering on Scan's website was in 2009 and I don't think they took Paypal via their site then.

I've only ordered from them via Ebay three times since I got burnt in 2009, and that was only because they had something no one else did (like the 7990 for £400 odd with a free PSU).

I generally order from Amazon mainly, though lately I have ordered from OCUK a few times.

I will agree that Amazon are the best in regards to dealing with returns. Prices are now competitive with even some of the cheaper Tech sites. Plus I'm a Prime member so can more often then not get it next day delivery for free.

The only reason I ever ordered from Ebuyer was because they had 90% of the rig I was building in stock at the one place. The last thing I needed was the stress of ordering from five different places and paying out over £60 in shipping.

I'd ordered from Ebuyer before (an EOL cheap Ipad) and they were OK but after spending £3500 and getting the service I did I won't be ordering from them again.

But yeah, Amazon FTW. There's absolutely no beating them in this day and age.

And yeah, rockin' the Prime badge too (we have Amazon TV thingermebub aswell)

Scan is a certified Google shop now so they must have bucked their ideas up I have just taken delivery of a Phanteks Enthoo pro today from them it arrived before 12 and I didn't pay the extra deliver by 12:30pm from DPD. I have not ordered much from them but their shipping was £15 cheaper than OCUK for a Saturday delivery both with the same courier. I had to RMA an MSI R9 290 last March I had no problems with getting a refund so I went and got my Sapphire R9 290x Vapor X from Aria however I do agree with what you say ALX if I am ever burnt by a company I won't give them another penny.

I'm sorry to say this fella and I mean it in a positive way please do some research 1st to make sure it will fit in the case you have :)

What is the Maximum length that your case would support for a GPU? or tell us which case you have that way we can help you more Matey :)

So your max GPU card length is 304mm/11.96 inch so based on that I would go MSI R9 390 or X they will fit matey
