A "Little Crazy" but "Blue" mod.

Hi Guys!

Just started todday for my new rig with an APlus.

took it apart and paint with blue. The case too small for a h2o cooling so I just wonder 1 single 120 rad could do the job with q6600 and 8800gtx or not?!

Cool mod - I like the idea of cramming all that gear into a small space.

No way will a single 120 rad cope with that heat... Double will be ok...

I also paint the DVD drive but I didn't dare to paint the HDD it might turn out cost me more...

Waiting for the main core, hope it come on Monday or so. Can't wait for the result, this is the first time I work with microATX case.

i like the look of it, as for not painting the hard drive, i wouldnt dare paint the case, let alone the dvd drive and hard drive

but yeh, its looking awsome

Thanks for that guys, I never paint HDD before, some people do but on the old one. I don't wanna take a risk on the new althought HDD not quite expensive.

If you do paint the HDD make sure you dont go over the air hole it has.

You could always take off the label and polish it up to a mirror finish

Like the blue, keep it up

I think he meant, take it off, put the mobo and everything in the case, then put it back on once inside. So it doesn't get caught on the case?

Do you mean it would still catch on something once inside the case?

Edit - from the pic, it doesn't look like it's seated properly anyway.

Yes it didn't seat properly, Thanks for that Pseudomym. If I do that way (put it on when mobo inside) I can't take th mobo out to fix or want to do something. I got to fix the CPU water block on aswell so I think better file the case a little bit.
