I am a business student in the US working on a project and would just like to ask a couple questions. 1) What do you think is the most difficult challenge for U.S. businesses that want to do business in your country? and 2) What advice or suggestions do you have for American companies that want to do business in your country?

1) Starting costs, knowing the market, getting custom/making a name for there selves

2) Have large start up costs and big advertisement, know your product

I don't really know that much about it but dose that answer the question?

My advice is try keep prices down! It's bad enough already getting arse slapped by suppliers in the UK we pay 33% (average) more for tech than the rest of the world..

I ordered 20 Motherboards from Gigabyte last week 15kg package weight in total customs slammed me for £450 on import duty....... £450!!!!!!
I'll be sending them to Spokane in future and getting a family member to ship them.

Not yet, all I've got is the old camera phone. But my roommate just bought a T3i, so I'll put some good shots up soon.

I had no idea you all have to pay such a premium over there.

Oh yes our beloved government and "Her majestys customs & excise" know how to rape us, me and my missus both are self employed and we dread ordering or posting outside the EU. China are even worse as there is simply no insurance against loss or damages.

what did you buy 20 motherboards for?
germany charges 19% on import duty, paid 90$ for a keyboard, 50$ for shipping and 26$ taxes. 76$ just to get the keyboard to my door pretty much.
