well the greek market sucks in general :/ imagine that the 7970 non ghz edition is almost same price as the 780....

What about import? From like the UK or EU mainland, for example. If you pay them, I can't imagine they say no, and when you can get one for €530,- you could spend €70,- on shipping and still be cheaper off.

Anyway, I'd still vote the GTX 780 as. I admit that the Titan is an amazing deal, but you'd literally be spending €60,- on a, in your case, 0-1% performance increase.

0-1% is exaggerating, more like 5%. but mate, e-peen. i sure as hell would do it.

I was going to suggest 670 sli but it seems your mobo only does crossfire. A 780 it is then, a titan for an extra 60 euros would be pretty pointless.

What you could do best is look up gaming benchmarks (cause they matter, benchmark software doesn't) and look at the difference. Then decide if you think it's worth the extra money.

Just Google 'GTX 780 vs Titan benchmarks'. There's also a review and (SLI) comparison on the OC3D homepage, under the reviews section, I think

Titan's literally are just for e-peen and double precision compute and that's it. The 780 beats it in most gaming circumstances. We still don't have any facts on the 780Ti, some believe it'l be better than titan, some believe it'l slot between the 780 and titan in price..
Personally I think it'l just be a 780 with 6GB of ram which will likely mean lower overclocks. The same can be said of all the 290/290x speculation, there really aren't any solid facts out about that yet.

In an apples to apples comparison the Titan is faster than a GTX 780 in gaming.

If the OP has been offered a Titan for just 60 euros more it is a bargain.

Well i think that the titan is just an overpriced card.at that price that i found it i thought it was a bargain but the last days i focused on benches and comparisons and i dont see big diferences in performance that justify that big price diference from the 780.

Unless he has deep pockets and is hoping to buy the new 290x, or 780Ti (which, why would you dump a Titan for them?) then I can't see why a Titan is on sale already at a discount...

The guy who sells the titan has 3 titans and he sells them all for 650 euros each.duno the reason

i dont know him in person but as far as i can understand from his advertisment on a greek forum that ppl sell stuff he is a normal consumer and he says that he originaly bought the cards from amazon germany
