6950 Overclocking !

Open the sidepanel and set those fans to 100% wait like 5min so it cools a little and then try getting more from it! It must have 1000MHz in it! Just for fun

i tried it set all my fans to a 100% and set it at 999/1525Mhz @ 1350mV

And amazingly it ran Unigine for about 10mins before locking up and the max temp I've seen where 49c!! (roomtemp 14c all windows open

going to be sick soon

)

Tried to run a 3Dmark11 3 times once it froze at the last test (so close) maybe ill try later on again

Good temps there! And how do you run your 3dmark? With full experience or just tests? Run Tests only! Maybe lower the ram clocks and volts, but not a whole lot... just maybe 25-100MHz... That might give you room for that 1mhz! Btw I test stability with F@H... just clock it and if it finishes successfully it should be ready to go but not for 24/7 use because F@H stresses only shader. But it should be stable for 3dmark11.

Not bad at all! I knew you had 1000 in the pocket! But why did you lower the ram?

Come to think of it, you could flash it to 6970! But that's juts a thought...

If it's a single BIOS card, that can get extremely messy if it goes wrong

i already tried the unlock but my GPU is lasercut unfortunately

I know the flash was successful because my CCC limiteds increased.

MSI actually wrote there own bios for this card for the shader unlock

It does have a dual bios btw

I may try it with a vRAM overclock as well if i have the time

maybe even increase the core a bit because it did run this in one try...

At least i was very impressed with this score, was expecting high 5000

Seems dodgy but after 4 months, who cares

(volts are fine though)
