2011-v3

As far as I've understood AMD is doing alright in the GPU buisness, I mean they run hot but performance wise they seem to be doing well. Another thing is that price wise they can't be beat or am I completely off here?

I'm no AMD fan I've owned one and that experience is enough for me so I'm sticking with Nvidia unless they fuck up badly as they did back with the 8000 series if I remember correctly

8000 series was epic
Great performance for the buck
GTX 8800 was the thing
they were very good times for nvidia

Ahh yes that is correct i had a 8800 that wen't bonkers when it was 1½ years old or so. Had to send it to the Danish retailer who accidently lost it when they had to send it off to Germany I ended up getting all the money I spend on it back and bought a newer card.

AMD rules the price performance cards as they have the past few years. I wouldn't even bother with Nvidia soley for G-Sync, with FreeSync on the way being supported by DisplayPort nearly every monitor will get it without having to pay a premium.

I wouldn't say that I'm sticking with nvidia solely for G-sync I personally think they make great video cards, but like so many others I put my money where I feel I get the best performance. Is there any current 4k screens worth investing in at the moment? For a reasonable price I mean.

Honestly don't end up with depending on one GPU manufacturer. Also the next gen for AMD gpus could be excellent .
