2 pump, 2 rad 1 cpu!!!!

Random idea here....so tell me if it will work or not okay and sorry for doggy pic...

2 Eheim 1048's

1/2'' tubing

CPU block with 3 barbs

2 Thermochill pa120.3 rads

4 Y spliters

1 DD fillport

Idea is thus

T-line kinda thing done via the Y adapter fills the line to both pumps

Both pumps go into one and through the block

1 outlet goes to the left rad off the cpu block and vice versa for the right ie for the dumb one side of each cpu block is cooled by 1 PA120.3 rad!

Both outlet off each 120.3 rad goes to each indervidal pump.

Okay idea is that with both rads i can get a massive oc...i have all the kit right now and my case is made for it to fit.

Whythe 2 pumps, am i right in thinking that faster flowing water over the direct center of the core shifts more heat??

You will still get the same flow rate, this will not be increased by having two pumps as the volume of water will still be the same as if you had one pump, the only resuon you would want two pumps is incase one packed up then the outher would take over, you might see 1c or 2c drop in temp by having two rads though

Well not entirely, it is true you wont see double the flow rate, nothing like that, but you will see some increase in flow, as the resisting force of the block will have twice the force pushiong the water against it, and it is really just a increase in block efficiency.

Two rads would be awesome, what cpu?

I would stick with one pump myself, if you want extra flow get a larger pump as i think 2 pumps gives little flow increase of a doubling of heat dump into the loop.

I'd use one pump - but a high pressure unit like the AQZ unit offered on EPUK.

Possibly Pump-rad-cpu-rad-res back to pump

or

Pump-cpu-rad-rad back to pump

If you use two pumps then slap a 2nd pump between the two rads

Has to be said with two rads it's alomost screaming out for a pelt cooled system.

P4e currently and i've a Yhona sat here but no mobo and a Conroe on it's way to me if my mate has it....

Humm i though the presure whould get cooler temps as i know the block is restricting at the inlet.

drazic i would choose a Y-piece instead of a T-piece as the Y-p will give a more even flow
