£150-£175 cheap but fast PC

So my dad wants me to find him a quick PC (he says he wants it to boot fast and want it to print labels and do invoices on etc.) so I was wondering weather it would be better for me to custom build him a PC or weather I should find him a cheap pre-built PC.

He said he wanted something that would boot in ~45 seconds.
If anyone could enlighten me on what to do I would be grateful.

I already scouted these quick parts off amazon:
AMD A5300 APU - £36
AsRock FM2A55M-DGS Motherboard - £40
Corsair XMS3 1333Mhz 4GB - £21
500GB SATA III HDD - £33
CiT case with 500w PSU - £25

Also I feel a bit silly asking this but could a small 40GB SSD be an option just for the faster boot speed?

You'd be better off looking second hand tbh mate, Gumtree.

You will need an SSD for fast boot times.

Could you suggest some stuff that I should look for?

Intel CPU and an SSD. That will get you pretty far. Even a socket 1155 Pentium would probably be okay for his needs.

And stay away from CiT power supplies...

+1 for used components.

yep id go with what sps said search gumtree/ebay for a amd fm2 bundle (moboard, cpu, ram) get a ssd, 64gb ones are going pretty cheap these days, 40gb if you wont be using the computer for much else (found mine filled up too quick).

if you have no luck with gumtree/ebay check out scan's today only section or overclockers deals of the week. few other sites to check dabs, lambdatek .

I honest to god can't find anything cheaper as a bundle than I have found on amazon as individual parts, and even looking on scan or on ebay for the individual parts I can't find it cheaper even used!

And I was just wondering if there was any 'trusted' PSU's that don't cost £35 for a huge overkill wattage.

I have no doubt that they are as I have used them before and found that they are near silent with incredible efficiency for the price, but I was trying to make his system on a tight budget.

Would any of you suggest an old Dell PSU from an Dimension 3100 as I have one handy that I use mainly for running fans to see vibrations, noise output etc.
