Okay so we all know there's many things about both hard drives & solid state drives. Now I'm sure theres many different ways people have their HDD/SSD's set up.
Personally I have:
-Crucial 128GB C300 SSD on a SATA3 (6GBps) connection for Windows & programs (Office, AV etc)
-Seagate Barracuda XT 2TB 7200RPM HDD on a SATA3 connection for Documents, Music, Videos, Pictures, Downloads and Installers (things I download; itunes VLC etc)
-Hitachi Deskstar 1TB (I think 5400RPM not too sure) on a SATA2 (3GBps) connection for Games
This works well for me, but I'm sure there's various different configurations out there including RAID and other things. I want to get a second Barracuda to replace the Hitachi then a 4TB (when their available) for backing up stuff, maybe a larger, faster SSD to replace mine as when I got mine it was the only SATA3 on the market but now there's plenty of choice.
