WMV file will not upload to youtube?

SO a video i made in Windows movie maker will get completely finish uploading but will end of having a save error and something along those lines and will not upload... Whats the problem?

How large is the file and how long is the video?

hmm size i am not quit for sure almost 7gb? but its about 12 min long is that to long?

Youtube only allows a max of 2GB, which is the problem. The length of the file is OK. IIRC you can have up to 15 minute files.

I'm not sure how people upload larger files. I'm guessing they contact Youtube or you have to be a Youtube partner. I'm not really sure tbh, but for regular user's like you and I, the limit is 15 minutes. If you have Windows Movie maker you have an option to compress the file iirc.

OK. I was under the assumption that you had to either contact Youtube for that certain privilege or be a Youtube partner.

So here is the problem i get at 2%, it tells me

"There was an error saving your video settings.: Bad value."

"There was an error saving your video settings.: Invalid form data"

It is ALSO giving me a red trim around my tags box after i enter all my tags. You do do it like so correct?

"add tag here" "add another tag as so" "and another correct"

Its a WMV file though

can somebody PLEASE help me i really need this video posted like NOW ugh... Its weird because it continues to upload? Like wtf

try converting the WMV file to an MPG or AVI, and see if that works

I dont think i can with Windows movie maker... i think it only makes WMV's :/

i would say get a hold of sony vegas, best software i have ever used for video editing

i use premier pro CS5, and then compress for YT using TMPGEnc Video Master Works 5

For a non-partnered youtube account you can only upload 15 min vids
