I got a problem with WMP

I have "The Album". Its 2 discs, each 21 tracks long, and after track 14 the sound screws up. It goes all jerky and rough on each disc. I tried ripping to hard drive and playing from there but the same problem. My Hifi and car have no trouble with it, so does WMP not like more than 14 tracks at a time? No - The funnier thing is, if I just select track 14-21 to play individually, it still happens :banghead:

try ripping it with another media player, like itunes. it is actually faster i find with itunes aswell :)

Don't want itunes :wiggle:

I hate having more than one media player, its so complicated. I want one player for everything...

Sorry, but I'm stubborn :)

once u go itunes, u wont go bk. are you just scared that you'll like it?? lol! tried ripping them to your hard drive in .wav format?? then you could convert them with media player i suppose.

I give in, SonicStage is working its magic on the discs now. Hope it works

Now using Sony SonicStage and ATRAC3, still with the same problems

Now not using onboard Nvidia sound, thieved a Sounblaster! Value out of my dads pc :D

But still have dodgy music

Only got 1 drive. Its dodgy when played off the disc and when played off the hard drive. Exactly the same on my laptop using a different player

Its pissing me off, I get perfect sound with other music, just these discs are not liked by media player or sonicstage on 2 different computers

hmmm how bizaare

Think I'm gonna go back into Tesco tomorrow and return them, see if its a problem with the CDs themselves. But my car plays them fine so it shouldn't be...

I'm gonna copy onto a MD and see if it happens on there

For anyone who cares - I returned the CD and got a new one. Works fine now :D
