Win 10 - First Impressions.

ooo if that removes shortcut arrows for desktop icons I'm ALL over that
Just do it yourself, it's easy you don't need an app for that.

Right Click start menu, hit RUN, type regedit, hit enter.

Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – SOFTWARE – Microsoft – Windows – CurrentVersion – Explorer – Shell Icons

If Shell Icon isn't in there create a new Key within Explorer and name it "Shell Icon" (without the quotes)

Now create a new string within Shell Icon and name it "29" with a value of "%windir%\System32\shell32.dll,-50" (without the quotes)

Exit and reboot, et viola no more shortcut arrows ;)

I could kiss you, I'll try that tonight (the icon change, not the kiss)

I read a post on an ASUS site where someone was complaining because he couldn't mulitboot with Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and Linux. There will always be something someone is not happy with. I have a few issues with the occasional screen flicker when something is doing something in the background, but apart from that all my OC software works fine and every game I have wanted to play has worked.

In a decade when they bring out Windows 11 or something, people will be wanting to stick with Windows 10.

As for Cortana, it's not supported here in Australia.
